Yes, the work shifts entirely. An 11+ tutor preps reasoning, comprehension and timed-test technique. A Birmingham GCSE tutor reads recent school work, finds the specific topics losing the most marks, and the plan from session two drills exam technique on those question types. Two different specialisations, and we match on which one the student actually needs.
Quietly important work. Most Birmingham FE colleges and apprenticeship schemes screen on grade 4 or 5 in those two subjects, and missing them by half a band closes routes. GCSE Maths and English tutors focus on the high-yield question types first, the ones that lift the band without rewriting the whole revision plan.
